Very Low Frequency

Pretty cool article about how Very Low Frequency (VLF) radio waves could potentially be used to help protect astronauts and equipment someday.  This (very loosely) relates to NAU as follows:  In order to test this application for VLF radio waves, a controlled laboratory-like environment was needed.  I happen to work in such a facility as my day job (I moon-light as a blogger/writer/tech expert/latin lover, etc.).  Anyway, this project went to my coworker (at the time), and they were working on it.  On a few occasions, I was asked to help with parts of this effort (I’m the NAU tie-in for this).  When my coworker unexpectedly left one day, I had to fill in on this project until his replacement was found.
