I’m Back!

It’s been a little while (Ok, a month and a half) since I last posted. Sorry for the delay, this thing called “life” got in the way. Remember tomorrow is May 4th….May the 4th Be With You!
Tau Beta Pi (TBP) – Arizona Gamma (AZG) Chapter:
I was saddened to hear that the NAU Chapter of Tau Beta Pi (Engineering Honor Society) died in 2015 and was revived in 2016. I remember joining during the Spring semester of my senior year, having rejected several offers to join sooner. Now that I have graduated and have a family of my own, I wish I had been more involved in TBP when I was at NAU, but am proud to be able to tell my family that I was a member when in school! Unfortunately, there isn’t a website for AZG, but there is contact info for officers located in the website above.
AZG hosted this year’s District Convention on April 6th in Flagstaff.
If you are interested in joining Tau Beta Pi, contact Jacob Barker (jb2939@nau.edu) for more information.

A few articles about Oumuamua, the “Interstellar Cigar”:
Distance: 490,822,000 mi from Earth (disclaimer: these are my personal calculations, and may be off)
(For reference: Mars is 141,600,000 miles, Jupiter is between 365,000,000 and 601,000,000 miles from Earth)
Closest distance: 25,656,000 mi on Oct 8th
